ICS Bring you the MLC, 2006 Training Packages

The Training Packages are designed for everyone involved in the Maritime Community to familiarize, comprehend, and understand the Maritime Labour Convention of 2006.

The Training Packages are divided in 2 main Packages:

Training Package I

The “Training Package I” focuses more on the general comprehension of the MLC, 2006 and related issues. Distant Training Course provides documents, materials and updated information about the MLC, 2006, delivery of “Training Package I” include:

1- ILO promotional CD-ROM in three languages (English-French-Spanish) including the following information:

Training Package II

The “Training Package II” (on-site two-days training course) will put more emphasis on the practical part (“how to inspect the ship”) based on Title 5 “Compliance and Enforcement” and including the following MLC-2006 Regulations:

• Regulation 5.1 – Flag State Responsibilities
• Regulation 5.1.2 – Authorization of Recognized Organization (RO)
• Regulation 5.1.3 – Maritime Labour Certificate (MLC) and Declaration of Maritime Labour Compliance (DMLC – Part I & Part II)
• Regulation 5.1.4 – Inspection and Enforcement
• Inspection & Certification requirements
