We want to make this important announcement because, undoubtedly, this is great achievement obtained by ICS, an achievement that belongs to ICS-China because is the ICS office who make these achievements possible.

ICS are full ahead becoming in one of the best Recognized Organization in just five-years of operation in despite of the difficulties that we found on the road.

Today we can officially announce that ICS has received a permanent approval letter of authorization issued by the Maritime Safety Administration of the Republic of China (MSA-China), this approval will allow ICS to carry out inspections and certifications in all Chinese territory under the authorizations granted by the flag state administrations that recognize ICS as Class/RO/RSO.

We must emphasize that, until today, only IACS members and a few Panamanian Recognized Organizations have achieved this permanent approval letter of authorization issued by the MSA-China which should fill us with pride and satisfaction.

From today ICS belong to the select group of RO’s with a permanent approval letter of authorization issued by the MSA-China according to the regulations for foreign Recognized Organizations established by the MSA of the Republic of China.

This permanent approval letter of authorization issued by the MSA-China on December 10, 2010 will remain valid for the next five (5) years subject to inspections and annual audits conducted by MSA-China to ICS-China office and will remain equally valid if the records of inspections and detentions of ships certified by ICS is still below the rates established by the MSA-China for foreign Recognized Organizations authorized to operate in China territory.
